Bhansali Highlighted & Telugu Director Krish Sidelined?

When it comes to Bollywood films, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is a brand and his movies come with high values of filmmaking and production, Sanjay being the co-producer and also the director of his directorial ventures.

So, when ‘Padmaavat‘ was mired in controversies back-to-back, Bhansali’s name was heard everywhere in the media since he was a brand. Now, Krish’s directorial ‘Manikarnika’ based on the life of Jhansi Lakshmi Bai is slowly getting into the same controversial mode as a religious fringe outfit made allegations that the makers are canning some objectionable scenes on Rani of Jhansi who was a Brahmin by birth.

Unlike Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s name, Krish is nowhere being heard. The producer of the movie is said to be in talks with the religious heads assuring them that there are no objectionable scenes in ‘Manikarnika‘. The media is picking up on this controversy using the heroine Kangana Ranaut and the producer’s name.
