Sanjay Dutt who had been restrained to Yerawada jail is now back home on a parole of fourteen days for reasons pertaining to his health. According to some reports, Dutt had been undergoing treatment for Peripheral Arterial Disease and on advice by some doctors to undergo a few medical tests; he applied to get a parole in August. However, a lot of people are raising their eyes at this development since they feel that Sanjay’s celebrity status helped him jump through the official ropes easily. It is believed that other prisoners find it very difficult to get the required permission unlike Sanjay who got the permission quite easily.
However, an official from the Yerawada Jail has refuted all these allegations and has affirmed that the actor has been released on furlough after his application was considered and the requisite orders had been received from concerned authorities.
