SV Trailer Talk: Fun, as Expected From the Combo

Victory Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi’s magical fun combo is back, and their theatrical trailer for Sankranthiki Vasthunam is out.

The first impression we get is that every scene is designed to prioritize generating humor and laughs, as one would expect from this duo and director.

The fun is centered around women’s ego and the typical banter between wives and husbands, which feels relatable, but Venky brings it to life with his body language. He effortlessly glides through the trailer, interacting with the two female characters and delivering laughs along the way.

There is also a political angle hinted at, though it remains unclear, along with some kidnap drama tied to the main plot, which is briefly showcased in the trailer.

The trailer is entertaining, but on the flip side, the truly hilarious moments that deliver big laughs, expected from the Venkatesh-Anil combo, might be reserved for the theater experience, as they are not included in the trailer.

For now, the trailer sets further expectations already built around this combo, but the real test will be whether they can live up to these expectations by delivering humor and situations that are best experienced on the big screen.

The casting looks good, and the visuals appear fine, so it is now up to director Anil and the team to deliver more than just casual laughs. How consistently they can generate those big laughs and elevate the humor to the next level will determine the impact expected from this combo.
