Sardaar Gabbar Singh starring Powerstar Kalyan has done a phenomenal business of 60 Cr from Only the two Telugu states. It is massive figure and second only to Baahubali. Now that pre release business is done it will be all about the opening day figure of SGS vis-a-vis Baahubali. Here is how the former is stacked against the latter as of today.

We all know that post Baahubali Telugu film market has increased by leaps and bounds. This is the first Pawan Kalyan film arriving after the increase and its positive effect is already seen. In as many as three areas Krishna, East and West Godavari, the new expanded market with massive hires is going to work its magic for Sardaar Gabbar Singh. The hires already pouring in suggest SGS could sneak past Baahubali to create new day 1 record in these areas.

In other territories like Nizam, Nellore, Guntur and Uttar Andhra, the trade expects it to be close fight with a lot depending on the sort of release SGS gets along with talk. Ceded looks like the only ‘impossible to be near’ area for Sardaar at this point.
