Karthi has huge following and market in Telugu and his spy thriller Sardar has been a bumper blockbuster. So, the hype and anticipation for Sardar 2 have been immense. Each promotional material released by the makers has worked immaculately with audiences. Now, the makers have unveiled trailer of the film.
The movie is a prequel to first Sardar based on Subash Chandra Bose character. A very loving and happy-go-lucky drama artist transforms into a spy and his hand nerves weaken due to the guilt. Why does he Harbor a guilt, Sardar 2 explores this story meticulously while SJ Suryah claims to be his fan and challenges him.
Director PS Mithran is back with another sophisticated yet rooted spy thriller that explores lives of Indian spies. Karthi is very good in this role and he lands emotional scenes like only he can. Each sequence is designed grandly without losing focus on the story and main conflict. SJ Suryah is at his menacing best and his swag is mind blowing.
The Lord Murugan parallels, usage of village carnival atmosphere, aeroplane sequence all stand-out technically and production design is great too. Sam CS does his best in enhancing the grandeur with his score. Malavika Mohanan and Ashika Ranganath are playing leading ladies in the film. Prince Pictures are producing the film while Annapurna Studios is releasing it in Telugu on a massive scale on 10th September.
