These controversies only help him mint more money by gaining free publicity. His last release ‘Mersal’ was in controversy when political parties made a mountain out of a molehill and the result was there for everyone to see. An average movie ended up as a huge grosser. Now, AR Murugadoss’ directorial ‘Sarkar‘ also fell into the same space when political parties found fault with some scenes and protesting that those scenes be removed.
The result is quite obvious. The film is all over the media in Tamil Nadu and needless to say that the movie is going to gain big time from the free publicity it is getting unwarrantedly. Of course, it’s not the mistake of the hero or the director and nothing intentional. What else a film needs other than free publicity?
