SVP: Big Challenge for USA Distributor

Superstar Mahesh Babu enjoys tremendous stardom at the US box office. Irrespective of talk, Mahesh Babu films have been Million-dollar grossers in the US.

Mahesh’s upcoming film Sarkaru Vaari Paata is also keenly awaited at the US box office. The hype surrounding the film helped the makers to sell its overseas theatrical rights for an exorbitant price.

FlyHigh Cinemas earned a good profit with the hit movie ‘Jathi Ratnalu’ in 2021. The same distributor has collaborated with Shloka Entertainments and acquired USA theatrical rights for SVP.

The biggest challenge for the distributor is accommodating the maximum number of shows for the film. The distributors must also take care of the show timings, which play a crucial part in getting the audience to the theaters.

Dr. Strange will also retain some of the screens, which would be in its second week.

Cinemark is contributing a significant % in comparison to other chains, but the challenge is to find big screens and XD shows where there will be optimum revenue.

The trailer of the film has got a thumping response, due to which the distributors are expecting solid bookings.

SVP is scheduled for a grand premiere in the USA on May 11.
