Satellite Channel Showed Reality to Makers of ‘Acharya’?

As per a report in sify.com, the makers of Chiranjeevi’s upcoming movie ‘Acharya‘ had a setback regarding the satellite channel rights of the movie. According to the report, the producers quoted a hefty amount for selling the satellite rights of the movie.

However, the satellite channels weren’t ready to buy the prices quoted by the makers as the amount they asked for is said to be as if they were asking for ‘Baahubali 2’ or ‘RRR’. So, they outrightly rejected the quote.

Finally, ‘Acharya’ makers have to come down and reduce their quotation by 40%. The makers have already sealed the deal for the theatrical version of the movie with the distributors.

Now, the above-said issue was for the Telugu, the Tamil and the Hindi versions of the movie. Though ‘Acharya’ is a big movie in Telugu, it’s not so for other languages unlike RRR which is a pan-Indian movie that will have huge craze across the nation.
