Weak Audio Puts Dent On Initial Plan

These days it is all about one song only. If there is a hit single, half of the job is done as far as openings are considered. The trailer and other promos take care of the rest.

It brings us to the new film by Naga Chaitanya, Savyasachi, that will arrive in cinemas next week. The movie has been most awaited for Akkineni fans since its announcement. There were high expectations on it commercially. However, the delay dampened the spirits, and now the audio has further lowered the initial anticipation.

The music by MM Keeravani has failed to excite the fans. There is not even one hit song. The remix of “Ninnu Road Meeda” single from Nagarjuna’s Allari Alludu has been disastrous to put it politely. With a November 2nd release on a non-holiday, many are hoping that it would be great if Savyasachi matches Shailaja Reddy Alludu’s openings. Well, weak audios do tend to have such adverse effect unless there is extraordinary hype on the movie or if the trailer is fantastic.
