SDT19: Sai Durgha Tej, Teja Kakumanu and Anil Sunkara Join Hands

Sai Durgha Tej, filmmaker Teja Kakumanu and producer Anil Sunkara are joining hands for #SDT19. Announced on Sai Durgha Tej’s birthday, the film is scheduled to begin its regular shoot this month under the AK Entertainments banner.

Teja Kakumanu reportedly prepared a story with Sai Durgha Tej in mind, envisioning a role that offers a different dimension to the actor’s screen image. The concept appealed to Sai Durgha Tej, who agreed to take up the project.

The collaboration also marks a new step in Teja’s career. Although audiences have seen him in acting roles across several films, including Baahubali, his directorial work received wider attention through the series Save The Tigers 3. With #SDT19, he is now making his debut as a feature film director.

Backing this venture is Anil Sunkara, a producer who has worked across different genres, from large-scale commercial entertainers to content-driven films. Through AK Entertainments, he plans to bring Teja’s vision to the screen.

With a different story at its core and a debutant feature film director leading the project, #SDT19 marks a new collaboration between Sai Durgha Tej, Teja Kakumanu and Anil Sunkara.
