Second Legal Issue for Shankar in One Month

Sensational Director Shankar has landed in yet another legal mess. The director, the other day, announced the Hindi remake of his blockbuster film, Anniyan (Aparachithudu in Telugu) with Ranveer Singh. Now, Producer of Anniyan, Aascar Films Ravichandran threatened legal action against director Shankar over the Hindi remake.

Ravichandran says he is the “sole owner of the rights of the storyline”, which he has purchased from writer, Sujatha. The producer vented his anger in the letter for initiating the project without even informing him. This is the second legal issue in which Shankar has landed in recent times.

We already know how his Indian 2 producers knocked on the doors of Madras high court for proceeding to another project without completing their Indian 2. There are reports that Shankar is going for an out-of-the-court settlement in that issue. We will have to see what he does about Anniyan Hindi Remake.

Shankar is also directing Ram Charan in his next film after RRR. Mega fans are very much disturbed with these proceedings.
