Secret behind Aamir’s quirky avatar in PK?

Aamir Khan didn’t get the tag Mr.Perfectionist that easily. He understands his character and behaves like one when the shooting of that particular film is in progress. When PK’s shooting commenced, Aamir was found roaming on roads wearing a long skirt (lehenga) with a transistor hanging from one of his shoulders.

In PK, Aamir’s character loves betel leaf and is in awe of eating paan. For his character Aamir ate as many as 100 paans. A paanwala used to be there on the sets of the film and handover Aamir the paan whenever needed. Remember Aamir’s looks and especially his tongue and mouth totally red with paan in the motion posters and the official teasers.

The character happens to be the toughest one ever essayed by Aamir Khan and he needs to look as quirky as possible. To get the perfect looks for PK, Aamir didn’t blink his eyes while shooting and kept on eating pans. After ‘3 Idiots’, Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani’s combination has upped the expectations on the movie given to the intelligent narration and logical magic they create on screen.
