Seized Theaters Reopen After Loss To Shyam Singha Roy

Andhra Pradesh Government has granted a temporary relief to the theaters seized in the name of various violations. Cinematography Minister Perni Nani gave them one month time to comply with all the necessary norms.

The seized theaters can be opened immediately. The theater owners are asked to apply with the respective Joint Collectors. Eight three theaters across the state will get a relief with this decision. It has come after the meeting with Exhibitors and Distributors.

The Government has seized the theaters saying that the Form-B Renewal is not done in years. Form-B is a certificate of Fire Safety, Electricity, Parking, and R&B clearance. The Government simply brushes off its hands saying that it would not compromise on the safety of the audience.

But then, in the case of many theaters, the applications have be. The seizure also forced many theaters to voluntarily shutdown. As a result, Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy has suffered big time losing its collections in the first weekend. Nani is the only Hero to openly question the Government on the issue after Pawan Kalyan.
