Sekhar Kammula’s Fida to be Shot in This US City

Shekhar Kammula predominantly wants greenery as the backdrop for his upcoming love story ‘Fida’ starring Varun Tej and Sai Pallavi in the lead. So, he chose the city of Atlanta, the capital of US State Georgia.

However, Atlanta didn’t work out for the director as he opines that the greenery needs to be more. He went for location hunting in the United States and felt that it is better to settle for Austin as it has more hues and greenery which he needed for his canvas.

Half of the movie’s run time would be in the United States and the rest of the half in India. So, a lengthy schedule of 40 days shoot will happen in Austin, probably in the months of December 2016 and January 2017. The shooting part in India is almost complete and Kammula is making arrangements for the US part to be shot in Austin. A section of audiences is waiting for a Shekhar Kammula’s film, in his different style.
