Kammula Spared No Effort to Ensure Chay Ace Telangana

Shekhar Kammula’s characters speak the language of the people they represent whether it is the Godavari slang in ‘Godavari’ or the Telangana dialect in ‘Fidaa’. He sees to the fact that his actors get the slang right to live the characters that they represent.

Presently, he is working with Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi. Both of them are playing characters that come from rural Telangana to Hyderabad with big dreams. So, Kammula wants his actors to represent the social strata the characters hail from.

Therefore, he ensured that Chay gets the Telangana dialect right by conducting several workshops for the Akkineni hero. It would be a refreshing experience to watch Chay speak Telangana dialect for a change.

We’ve already seen Sai Pallavi acing the accent in ‘Fidaa’ with a lot of ease and to perfection. It’s Chay’s turn now to see playing a Telangana rural guy who has to do his domestic chores himself, dreaming big to make his life in Hyderabad.
