SRK in Jailer 2? Don’t Repeat Lokesh Kanagaraj Mistake

Since the announcement of Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2, expectations have soared across Kollywood. The first film became a massive blockbuster and continues to enjoy a loyal fan base. That success has turned the sequel into one of the most anticipated Tamil films in production.

Shooting for Jailer 2 is moving at a fast pace, and reports indicate that Nelson Dilipkumar is pushing hard to deliver another commercial entertainer. The director aims to repeat the winning formula that worked so well with Rajinikanth earlier.

From the first day of filming, social media has been filled with rumours about a grand pan-Indian cast. However, there is still no official confirmation on the full lineup. Insider reports claim Mohanlal and Shiva Rajkumar already have important roles.

Apart from them, strong buzz suggests Balayya also plays a key part in the film. Names such as Fahadh Faasil, SJ Suryah, Sooraj Venjaramoodu, Santhanam, Vijay Sethupathi and Vidya Balan are also being linked to the project through industry chatter.

Fresh speculation now points toward Shah Rukh Khan making a cameo appearance. Reports claim he may visit the sets soon. Although unconfirmed, the rumour has gained traction and continues to spread across platforms.

Many fans have also urged caution by recalling Lokesh Kanagaraj’s casting of Aamir Khan in Coolie, which turned into a troll fest. The demand is clear that any cameo by Shah Rukh Khan should feel meaningful and not wasted.
