Shahid Kapoor loves Telugu masala movies

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor was recently in Hyderabad promoting his film R..Rajkumar. For the first time in his career the actor will be seen doing a south styled masala fare which is unsurprisingly directed by a southerner Prabhu Deva. Shahid Kapoor who has had no hit in a very long is hoping that the current masala wave gives him the much needed hit.

It is in relation to the masala movies that the actor mentioned about the film Magadheera staring Ram Charan directed by SS Rajamouli. The actor said that he loved masala movies like any other genre of movies and added that he has seen few masala movies from Telugu as well among which he has loved Magadheera very much. Shahid isn’t the first Hindi film actor to say Magadheera as his favorite many have in the past said the same which goes on to show the popularity the film enjoys across the barriers and how universally it has been loved.
