Teaser Talk: Simple And To The Point

Ever since the title and theme of Shailaja Reddy Alludu were known, it was all about how well director Maruthi can present it. Story-wise it looks ancient, and all hopes were on the director.

The good news is Maruthi once again manages to engage. The teaser is very simple and contains nothing that is not seen before, but the director still manages to package it freshly. Additionally, he has been able to bring out a few fan-pleasing moments of dad Nagarjuna, through Naga Chaitanya. The debate on whether Chai has been able to present those moments as well as Nag did in his prime is for another day, though.

Check out the teaser below. Naga Chaitanya and Anu Emmanuel are paired together in the youthful-looking family entertainer. Gopi Sundar has provided the music. Shailaja Reddy Alludu hits theatres worldwide on August 31st.
