Sharwanand recently turned emotional while interacting with college students as part of his upcoming film Biker promotions. The actor spoke candidly about the struggles, insults, and rejection he faced before establishing himself in Tollywood. Today, he has carved out a respectable space for himself in the industry. His films might have failed, but as an actor, he has always delivered.
After scoring a decent success with Nari Nari Naduma Murari this Sankranti, Sharwanand is now betting big on Biker, a sports action drama centered around motocross racing, a first of its kind in Indian cinema. Directed by Abhilash Reddy, the film also stars Rajasekhar and Malavika Nair in key roles.
The film is slated for release on April 3, and Sharwanand is leaving no room for doubt about his expectations. He is promoting this film aggressively. He has openly declared that Biker will be a “Bumper Blockbuster.” He had done a similar thing before the release of Nari Nari Naduma Murari, where he said that the film would be a big success, and his prediction came true.
Now, even without the usual Sankranti festive advantage that previously worked in his favor with hits like Naari Naari Naduma Murari, Express Raja, and Shatamanam Bhavati, Sharwanand is extremely confident about Biker.
However, such bold statements come with risk. If the film delivers, it will strengthen the audience’s trust in Sharwanand and his choices. Such overconfidence can also backfire. If the film underperforms, such statements could be trolled for a long time. It can also hurt his credibility, and next time people may not take his statements seriously.
All eyes are now on April 3.
