She Cleared Old Controversy On Pawan Kalyan

Last general election in Andhra Pradesh was not only about just politics but also about several controversies including a controversy involving Pawan Kalyan and Poonam Kaur. A lot was written about her relationship with Pawan Kalyan, and director Trivikran was also dragged into it.

It was circulated that Poonam Kaur was angry that Trivikram was the reason behind not casting her for a role in ‘Jalsa’ alongside Pawan Kalyan. Speaking of which, today happens to be the birth anniversary of illustrious filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao.

Poonam remembered him as a go-to fatherly figure for her in the Telugu Flim Industry. As per her Twitter post, she always wished to do a film with Dasari and was never upset for not being cast in Jalsa. So, all that was written about her was baseless as she was studying at that time.

Dasari had indeed been a go-to fatherly figure in the film industry whenever controversies cropped up. Now, Poonam thinks that if Dasari was there, a lot of things for her wouldn’t have been miscommunicated and misled.

That’s Poonam’s clarification on the old controversy. Keeping aside the controversy, one can’t forget that there is a clear void in Tollywood after Dasari’s passing away as he was always a person whom everybody in the industry approached during their tough times.
