Shekhar Kammula Denies Trimming by Dil Raju

When Dil Raju is at the helm of the things as the producer, one can easily guess that he would have the final say with regard to his films’ final output. There had been a buzz that his interference has cost approximately 30 minutes of ‘Fidaa‘.

Speaking about these reports, Shekhar Kammula denied trimming his film from 2 hours 45 minutes run time to 2 hours 15 minutes run time. He writes the script in such a way that all the scenes are interconnected and one can’t remove the scenes randomly. That explains why there could be no trimming.

Shekhar Kammula’s films are special when they really strike the right chord with the audiences’ tastes. Hope, this one will bring back the filmmaker we had admired 10 years ago when he delivered ‘Anand’ and ‘Happy Days’. Will ‘Fidaa’ give him back those successful days?
