Shelve Devara 2: NTR Fans Demanding

NTR’s Devara had a phenomenal run at the box office by grossing over 400 crores worldwide at the box office. The film had a long run in the Telugu states, collected over $6 Million in the US, and did decent business in Hindi establishing a solid market for NTR in the Northern belts.

It began streaming on November 8 and quickly soared to the #1 trending position on Netflix.

However, Devara is facing extreme heat on social media after its OTT release.

Koratala Siva is facing severe backlash for lazy writing and poor direction.

Even NTR fans, who supported the film during its theatrical run, have now opened up completely and are expressing disappointment over the film. They have come to accept that the movie is full of flaws.

Except for some elevation scenes, there’s little for the audience to enjoy. The film is also getting negative reviews from audiences of other languages.

The film’s climax, which was supposed to be a cliffhanger for part 2, is being mocked and ridiculed on social media.

Amid such reactions, NTR fans are now demanding that the makers shelve Devara 2. They believe there is no need for NTR to waste another two years of his prime career on a subject and characters that lack substance.

Instead, he can work with better subjects and better directors.

It’s already enough that NTR devoted two years of his life to Devara Part 1, and fans now want the Devara chapter to end for good.
