Oscar Go-to Person For Telugu Media

As the buzz for the Oscars picks up for SS Rajamouli’s epic RRR, Shobu Yarlagadda of Baahubali fame, has been interacting with media and also giving out details about the Oscar campaign on his social media handle.

Some people are commenting that Shobu Yarlagadda is doing all this to get into the good books of Rajamoui and get him to do one more film for his banner.

Shobu Yarlagadda, whose film Morning raga starring K Raghavendra Rao’s son Prakash Kovelamudi, was considered for Oscar nominations in 2006. So he knows what the process is going to be like.

Shobu has clarified that SS Rajamouli is his dear friend and he is not doing all this to get him to commit to one more film. He said that he is doing all this to create awareness about the Oscars campaign among the filmmakers and the general public.

There’s no doubt that Shobu’s knowledge about the Oscars campaign is vast and genuine and his attempt to create more awareness is indeed commendable.
