Sankranthi Biggie Aired on TV!

When the film industry is trying to come to terms with the fact that there are torrent websites providing links of newly released movies, illegally; here comes another threat in the name of a television channel airing a newly released biggie.

Rajinikanth’s ‘Darbar‘ helmed by AR Murugadoss has been running in the theatres from 9th January onwards. On 12th January, a television channel, Saranya TV aired the newly released biggie. It is said to be a Madhurai-based channel.

Quite understandably, the producers of the movie registered a complaint against the TV channel for airing a newly released movie without permission from the makers. They have registered the complaint in Mumbai at Commissioner Office, Law and Order.

It’s a shocking scenario to see such miscreants trying to sabotage the hard work and the revenue of others who literally put their blood for the output. Piracy seems to be spreading in different forms, and this latest incident tells us about a new type of piracy. Oops!
