Ideally, a 250-crore budget film starring superstar Hrithik Roshan, the hottest Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor(after Animal) and directed by the All-Time Blockbuster Pathaan fame Sidharth Anand should have had massive hype. But Bollywood’s first biggie Fighter is having shockingly low buzz.
After Pathaan’s 545 crore net collections in India, Siddharth Anand’s Fighter is expected to be a sure-shot 500 crore blockbuster. But the buzz as of now is very low and according to the hype meter, the film might take an opening of around 30 crores which is around half of Pathaan.
The two songs, Sher Khul Gaye and Ishq Jaisa Kuch, haven’t turned out big chartbusters, despite Deepika’s hot glamor show. Also, there is generally a lack of interest in armed force films and such films have rarely worked at the box office. But the film’s trailer hasn’t been released yet.
A few weeks ago, even Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal had low buzz but once the trailer was released the hype went up like a rocket. So the trade is hopeful that once the trailer releases the hype will go boom just like it happened with Animal.
