Signs Of Life At Chennai Box Office

Ever since the Tamil Nadu theaters association went on a strike protesting GST and closed down theaters, the box office has been dead in the movie crazy land.

For full three days, the cinema halls were shut down. Later they were opened with revised rates but the occupancy has been abysmal. It has been the case over the past week despite some exciting new releases. Well, finally signs of life are visible courtesy two most exciting films.

Vikram Vedha starring Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi, and Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk are releasing this Friday. These films have breathed life to dying box office as the initial response is good and extraordinary for respective movies.
