Sikindar director admits he was embarrassed

Lingusamy is among the top directors working in Tamil films today. He last delivered a dud Anjaan, Sikindar in Telugu, and ever since its release he has been completely off the radar. Final after a long gap he broke his silence recently and spoke about the film and other projects.

The director said that hits and flops are common in film industry and that he doesn’t think too much about them and simply moves on to his next project. But for a while, the director conceded that he felt embarrassed as the jokes circulating on him and the film had reached even his kids.

On his future projects the director says that he is currently working on two subjects, a film with Karthi and another one will be Pandem Kodi 2 with Vishal. Lingusamy has delivered duds in the past but has immediately bounced back after them, one hopes he follows the trend again.
