There were several rumours in the industry that actress Simran, who recently made a comeback with southern remake of Band Baaja Baarat, has been roped in to play an important role in the Tamil remake of Drishyam. But the actress has clarified through an official press release that stated that she’s not part of the remake of the film in any language.
The press statement of the actress is as follows “I’m not doing any role in any language in any remake of Drishyam, I shall reveal my professional plans to the media at the appropriate time”. Following her comeback, it was speculated the she had signed the film after Kamal Haasan, with whom she shares a great rapport, requested her to work with him in the film.
The latest buzz is that actress Gauthami, live-in partner of Kamal Haasan, is expected to fill in the shoes of an important role in the Tamil remake of Drishyam.
