Singam 3’s Shocking Low Premiere Collections

Looks like Suriya’s luck is not that good in terms of his new release Singam 3. The film which already saw so many postponements finally released to some average to mixed reviews all over today.

Though there were good openings in Tamil Nadu, the effect was not that great in the Telugu states. Also, as the morning shows were also canceled this disappointed many Suriya fans in Andhra and Telangana.

But shockingly, the film only collected $42 K from the US and Canada premiere shows surprising many. Even though the film released on a weekday like Wednesday, the collections reported are the lowest in the recent few months.

Looks like factors like delay in release and too much of action was not the cup of tea for the NRI’s. Suriya has a decent fan base in overseas but seeing such collection one can only wonder what went wrong.

Let’s hope that the weekend coming in brings some decent revenues.
