Slap on Beast = Slap on Top Stars

Beast is facing a tough time at the box office and Vijay is being slammed for approving such a silly script. The film has been directed by Nelson and he has taken the audience for a ride by thinking Vijay’s star power and charisma are enough to attract the audience to the theaters.

Even the Tamil fans of Vijay who are generally very supportive, are slamming Nelson and Vijay for their shoddy work. The collections of the film are falling down drastically and KGF 2 has picked up in Tamil Nadu. This is like a clear slap on Beast and Vijay.

One can also say that this is not only a slap on Beast but also on top stars who think their name itself is enough to bring the audience to the theaters.

The same applies to our Telugu heroes as well. Radhe Shyam is one such example. The film was made and promoted in Prabhas name and the makers thought that the star hero’s craze will turn the tides but that did not happen as the film fell flat.

Times have changed and even in the future, our Telugu heroes should come to an understanding that just their face on the poster will not save their film but only content and solid narration will bring the audience to the theaters.
