Jr NTR’s Devara is a crucial project for him to make an impact not only in Telugu cinema but also in markets like Hindi, proving that he is a strong contender for a pan-India star.
So far, Anirudh Ravichander has contributed significantly to the buzz around Devara with his two songs. He has also promoted the film in his concerts by performing the songs, which attract huge crowds and go viral on social networks.
In a way, we can say that Anirudh Ravichander is largely responsible for the buzz generated so far.
Devara will be released on September 27, but despite the release date being just a few weeks away, there has been no kick-off to the promotions, and no one from the team, including NTR, has been involved yet. However, Anirudh has made his contribution so far, leaving no complaints.
If Anirudh delivers a background score on par with Vikram or Jailer, there will be no looking back for Devara, and he will serve as a crucial backbone for the film.
There is an accusation that Anirudh only values the Tamil movies he works on, but it seems he is truly invested in Devara.
