Social Media Madness: Couple Shares First Night Video

There have been quite a number of films that have glorified the wedding night or ‘Shobanam Ratri’ in Indian cinema. There was a time when such scenes would be a must even if it was in a dream sequence. Obviously, this served the voyeuristic side of the audience and for years the trend continued.

Looks like this social media-crazy newlywed couple, Rahul & Arushi, took inspiration from such films and they have shared a video on social media of their own ‘the first night’ and goes without saying, the video has had lakhs of views and several more shares.

In the video, the husband is seen kissing the bride on the lips as they together take out her make-up. With a song playing in the background, the woman is in a blouse and lehenga and the man is fully dressed. Then slowly, the man unties the blouse of his bride and thankfully, the video stops there.

The craze for likes and attention on social media has gone beyond madness and this incident is proof of it.

It is anyone’s guess as to what the reactions on social media are. While some found it irksome, many complained that having a mobile video option is taking things a bit too far, even for the soft-porn-fed Indian netizens. Now, didn’t the couple not know of Indian Sabhyata or Sanskar? One wonders!
