SM Talk: Rajamouli Betrayed By Prabhas

There is no debating the fact that Rajamouli and Prabhas mutually helped each other create a legacy with Baahubali. They often exhibit their admiration towards each other by rating each other highly while speaking in public forums. But a social media update has started an ugly fight on Twitter.

According to a tweet from a Prabhas fan handle, Prabhas said in a recent interview that Prashanth Neel is the best director he had worked with in his 21 year career. This sparked a debate as many netizens opine that Prabhas has intentionally downplayed Rajamouli who was the reason behind his pan-Indian acclaim with Baahubali.

There are several posts against Prabhas now, saying he shouldn’t have forgotten what Rajamouli did to him and it is not right for him to rate Neel over Rajamouli just because they worked most recently on Salaar.

A few of Prabhas’s fans are also shocked by the comment from Prabhas in the supposed interview while a few defend it, saying Prabhas is bound to have his opinions and inclinations.

However, the authenticity of the actual interview where Prabhas made this statement is not yet established. There is no hard source of the actual interview. It is just a social media post from a widely-followed Prabhas’s Twitter fan page that has caused this turbulence.

Incidentally, Rajamouli is set to interview both Neel and Prabhas for a promotional interview for Salaar. They are all together in harmony while fans indulge in useless fan wars on Twitter.
