Son kills father for missing memory card

This bizarre incident occurred on Monday night at Veepangandla village in Mahabubnagar District, Telangana state. G.Raju came home fully drunk and was searching for a Mobile Memory Card which he kept in the house. After searching for some time, he could not find it and asked his father, G.Hanumanthu about its whereabouts. Raju picked up a quarrel with his father after the latter did not help him in finding it.

After a lot of nuisance, he finally went to bed after the other family members pacified him. But Raju woke up midnight and hit his father Hanumanthu on his head with a stick and a stone resulting in his death. The victim reportedly is dead immediately after that.

The accused fled from the scene after the incident. Veepangandla Police registered a case under Section 302 (murder) of Indian Penal Code against Raju and launched efforts to nab him. That was one more fatal incident that took place due to the ill effects of Alcohol.
