Sonu Sood Evaded 20 Crore Income Tax

Actor Sonu Sood hailed as Indian Messiah for his humanitarian work in the wake of COVID-19. The actor has now been turned into a ‘real’ villain by netizens for evading a whopping Rs 20 crore tax, according to Income Tax Department.

The IT department has conducted raids at his houses for three consecutive days, and found that Sonu Sood and his associates have evaded tax of Rs 20 crores.

Explaining about their modus operandi, IT sleuths say that the actor used bogus unsecured loans for fake entities to route his unaccounted source of money. The officials have conducted raid at over 28 premises to find out the incriminating evidence.

It is also said that the Charity Foundation established by Sonu Sood has collected an amount to the tune of Rs 18.94 crores out of which the actor has only spent Rs 1.9 crore. It was through overseas population via crowdfunding that the Charity was raised and this IT sleuths dub as violation of FCRA.

The officials allege that Sonu Sood by doing all these irregularities, invested the money in real estate and buying property. Meanwhile #Rs20 and #SonuSood is trending big time on Twitter. Netizens are in astonishment and in bewilderment about Sonu Sood act. Meanwhile, the actor is yet to issue the statement.
