Special Status to be a time consuming process!

Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had clarified that the Center is working on the Special Status promise of Andhra Pradesh but says it will be a time consuming process. She said that Center is committed to all the promises and are working to execute them.

Nirmala Sitharaman also confirmed that she is in constant touch with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu regarding the center’s progress on promises made to the state. After facing severe backlash from people of AP due to the center’s insensitive allocations, Venkaiah Naidu has alerted various ministers at the center regarding a package to be announced very soon.

Couple of days ago, Venkaiah Naidu arranged a meeting with 35 Central ministers regarding the promises made to the state. It is earlier said that the Center has promised 1000 Crore for the state capital, 1000 Crore for Polavaram and 1000 Crore for covering up the revenue deficit. The Center also promised the state to release more funds after receiving the DPR of the state capital in June.
