US BO: Spyder Begins Mission Non-BB2

It is here, the Spyder premiere day. All eyes are on this Superstar Mahesh Babu biggie to check out what new records it sets. The US is important territory for the film to set any records.

Superstar Mahesh Babu is undoubtedly the biggest star in the US, and he can set records on his own. But it gets more exciting when he comes with a crazy combo like Spyder. The star joins hands for the first time with AR Murugadoss, and it has resulted in tremendous hype for the film. The bookings in the US are a testament to that fact.

So far from pre-sales alone, Spyder has passed $ 500K. When the actual bookings open later today that will be the time when the real numbers start pouring. The trade is expecting Spyder to cross Million very easily. But the real challenge is to see whether Spyder passes Baahubali part one premier ($1.3 Million) and creates new Non-Baahubali 2 records. Or can it go all the way to 2 Million?

It will be undoubtedly considered as a disappointment if Spyder fails to create a new milestone. The release is massive, next only to Baahubali 2. The distribution price is big and needs more than 4 Million to break even. It makes the premiere numbers all the more important.
