Srikalahasti Temple: SDT In Unexpected Controversy

Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej is usually away from controversies. He maintains a mostly calm and composed image. But cut to now, he has been caught in a big controversy and this is in connection with the famous Srikalahasti temple in Andhra Pradesh.

Going into the story, Sai visited the Srikalahasti temple recently to get Darshan. It was all good till then. But what happened later has now become controversial.

Incidentally, Sai Dharam Tej gave the Harathi as the Subrahmanyeswara Swamy temple in Srikalahasti and this has become a point of hot discussion now.

Traditionally, no one else but the priests should give Harathi at the temple. But this time, Sai Dharam Tej knowingly or unknowingly gave the Harathi. This incident shocked the pilgrims and they are breathing fire on Sai now.

A section opines that Sai crossed the line by not paying deed to age old traditions and that too at a powerful and reputed temple like the one at Srikalahasti. There is a fair bit of backlash on the same from the Hindu devotees community.
