Srimanthudu goes past 80 Cr

Srimanthudu had many days ago crossed the collections of Atharintiki Daredi and become the second highest grosser ever in Telugu cinema. It was at 75 Cr mark at that point.

The film has continued its steady run even after crossing that mark with excellent collections on every weekend. Now it has gone past another big milestone of 80 Cr and it happens to be only film after Baahubali to do so. The steady collections, at lower end, are expected to continue till the Vinayaka Chaviti, predicts the trade.

One other major milestone that the film was expected to cross but is most likely to fall short is the 3 Million mark in overseas. Given the overall achievements of the film, this appears to be a minor blip that one shouldn’t mind.
