No, this has nothing to do with our Telugu film of the same name starring Balakrishna. This is a completely new film directed by the Blockbuster man Rohit Shetty.
And to those who are completely clueless about the film, it is said to be an official remake of Amitabh Bachchan starrer Hum. Telugu audience might be aware of the classic Rajinikanth film Basha, well, even Basha was a loose remake of that old Amitabh Bachchan film. Any film in the combination of SRK and Rohit Shetty was going to generate massive but with the film happening to be remake of the popular Big B film, the hype has hit the rooftop just at the announcement itself. Legend will be a 2016 release.
