Stand Up Rahul Is More Than Just A Comedy

The pre-release event of Raj Tarun’s new film Stand Up Rahul was held today in Hyderabad. The cast and crew of the movie participated in the function, whereas Varun Tej and Anil Ravipudi were invited as the special guests. The common sentiment echoed by many was that Stand Up Rahul is a genuine attempt that would work with the audience.

Anil Ravipudi praised director Santo for picking a fresh subject for his debut. He appreciated everyone entertaining the audience as making them laugh is the most difficult thing.

Varun Tej was the highlight of the evening. The Ghani star said that Raj Tarun looks so young as if he is debuting with Stand Up Rahul. He praised him for his versatile choices irrespective of success or failure. He wished the team, which also includes his Ghani producer Sidhu Mudda all the best for the movie’s success.

Santo and the lead actor Raj Tharun thanked everyone for attending the event at such short notice. The common point said by both was that Stand Up Rahul is more than just a comedy. It is a coming of age drama that tells us always to follow our passion.

Varsha Bollamma of Middle Class Melodies fame plays the heroine in the movie opposite Raj Tarun. Sweekar Agasthi provides the music. Nandakumar Abbineni and Bharath Maguluri jointly produce Stand Up Rahul, which is set to hit the big screens on March 18th.
