Star Couple Announce Divorce

Celebrated Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and director Kiran Rao have decided to part ways ending 15-years of their marriage. The couple has jointly issued a statement about their separation stating that they have decided to begin a new chapter individually and not as a husband and wife.

The couple’s statement reads that this is not an end but a new chapter to begin in their lives. They would continue to be co-parents for their son Azad and also would collaborate for films and other mutual areas of interest.

While this is the first marriage for Kiran Rao, Aamir Khan was previously married to Reena Dutta. From his previous marriage, Aamir Khan has a son- Junaid, and a daughter Ira. Both the star kids are popular among the paparazzi while Ira often makes headlines for her bold photoshoots and her personal life.

Work-wise, Aamir Khan is shooting for Laal Singh Chaddha, the remake of the Hollywood film, Forest Gump. Directed by Advait Chandan, the film has Kareena Kapoor Khan and others.
