If there is one thing that a budding hero simply can’t afford to do, it would be moving away from the limelight. This is the exact mistake that is being committed by Akhil Akkineni.
After Agent which was released well over a year ago, Akhil went into complete hibernation. He is nowhere to be seen in the Tollywood scene.
He recently made a brief appearance at the Ambani wedding and that is the first and last public appearance of Akhil in a while. Barring that, Akhil has absolutely disappeared from the limelight.
Though the film with UV Creations has been in the planning for a while now, there is no consolidated update on this film either.
Akhil has been growing a slick body for a while now and this is evidently for the film with UV under a new director’s stewardship.
The Akkineni hero has completely moved away from the media attention and has burnt a year already, at a time when his career must be peaking.
Delivering a hit is out of one’s hands but at least continually attempting a bite at the cherry is expected. Especially for a hero with the kind of looks Akhil has, and the backing that he could have at his disposal.
Akhil has burnt enough time already after Agent and it is about time that he returns to action at the earliest.
