Star Power: Audio rights fetches 17 Cr

Bollywood music market and it’s potential is today not what it used to be in the last decade. Post the start of digital era of music the music rights of the film have come down greatly. While once upon a time a double digit figures for music rights were a norm today it’s a fantasy. Right now Salman Khan is making that fantasy a reality.

Music rights of the stars new film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo have been sold for a whopping 17 Cr which is a unheard of number in today’s time. The combination of the star with Sooraj Barjatya is seen as the biggest reason for this massive price. Himesh Reshammiya provides music for the film.
