State govet honors actress for achievements

Very rarely do we see a state government take pride in honoring an actress especially when it has no industry to boast off. The Himachal Pradesh government has done this for actress Kangana Ranaut of Queen fame.

Kangana originally hails from a small town of Himachal Pradesh and she has now gone on to achieve National Award making the state proud. It is for this contribution to the films and overall achievements including various awards as recognition that fetched her honor.

Virabhadra Singh, Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh presided over this function in person. Unfortunately the actress was not able to make to the felicitation and instead her parents attended it.
