Baltimore down town in the state Maryland turned violent after Freddie Gray, the 25-year-old black man who died of spinal cord injuries last week while in police custody. Dozens of people flocked to streets and started destroying stores and attacking police men. They have set the police cars and a pharmacy store CVS to fire and looted the stuff. Officials confirmed that so far at least 15 officers have been injured as large group of crowd started to throw bricks and other items at officers. The cops were injured with broken bones and cuts, and one police officer was unresponsive as per reports.
Governor has signed the state of emergency and activating the national gaurd and the Mayor of Baltimore city announced the curfew to start at 10 p.m. and last until 5 a.m. each night starting Tuesday night until May 4.
