Steady Bangarraju Looking To Emerge Big Winner!

King Akkineni Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya starrer Bangarraju is going steady at the box office. The second-day numbers are out and there is minimal drop suggesting the festival entertainer emerge as a big winner theatrically.

The two days total of Bangarraju is comfortably over 14 Cr now. The third day is expected to be on par with the first or better depending on the shows getting increased. It means a weekend of over 23 Cr from Telugu states is guaranteed. The worldwide number will be a little more.

The Sankranthi festival advantage is seen big-time in Andhra Pradesh. Almost all the areas are performing excellently with Uttar Andhra, East and West being the best. However, Nizam territory is not on the same level.

Bangarraju needs to collect more than 39 Cr to emerge a winner at the box office. Right now it looks like on course. However, a lot will depend on how stable it performs post the holidays are over. The Wednesday numbers, therefore, are likely to be most critical.

The lack of competition from notable films in the coming weeks is a big boost to Bangarraju’s box office prospects. We have to see if it has the long legs to cash in on the advantage.
