Suhasini Maniratnam Shocked With Early Rating!

Those active on Twitter must be well aware of a person named Umair Sandhu who claims to be a member of the overseas censor board. Umair Sandhu posts the review of all big films days before the release date. And many websites and media houses also post articles saying the first review is OUT!

But people who are veterans on social media know that he is a fake person and his posts are also completely fake. He previously used to run an account named Kiara Sandhu but that got deleted because Twitter suspended his account for spreading misinformation.

But then he came back with the Umair Sandhu account and is continuing posting fake reviews and reports of upcoming films just for some likes, retweets, and popularity.

Continuing the same trend, Umair Sandhu reviewed Mani Ratnam’s soon-to-be-released period drama, Ponniyin Selvan -1. In his post, Umair wrote, “#PS1 is Cinematic Historical Saga !! But #ChiyaanVikram and #Karthi Stole the Show all the way in this Movie !!!”. He gave a 3-star rating to the film and concluded that it is a decent historical saga with some twists and clap-worthy moments.

Mani Ratnam’s wife cum popular senior actress Suhasini, who seemed to be shocked by his review and rating, quoted his tweet and wrote, “Who is this, please. What is your access to a film yet to release?”

Suhasini’s post was welcomed with a positive response from Twitter users and many were seen exposing the truth about Umair Sandhu under her tweet.

A few others even requested Suhasini to ensure that such fake reviewers and accounts are banned from social media.
