Suicide Letter to Vishal, After Wife’s Divorce Notice

One supporting Tamil actor, Ilavarasan attempted suicide after his wife sent him a divorce notice. She was fed up with her husband for not getting back the dues from the producers who had to pay him for his work.

So, when Ilavarasan got a divorce notice from her, he wrote a suicidal note to Vishal requesting him to see into the welfare of supporting actors who are struggling to run their families. He also wrote that he tried to contact Vishal to explain his situation, but in vain.

After the actor attempted suicide, a friend found him in unconscious state and immediately rushed him to a hospital. His condition is said to be stable now. The suicide attempt of this small actor throws light on the plight of such artists who are either under paid or not paid their dues at all. Hence he wrote to Nadigar Sangham’s secretary to notify him what they are going through.
