Director Venkat Prabhu today on the micro-blogging site Twitter posted a congratulatory message to one of his assistants for getting the ultimate project which confirmed the buzz that started few days ago. Director of films like Madras, Pa Ranjith is reportedly going to make his next with Rajini.

It is certainly surprising for the fans and the industry alike as previously names like AR Murugadoss and Shankar etc were doing the rounds. The latter is still in the reckoning but before that gets onto sets Ranjith project might be a quickie that Superstar might have green lighted.
